What Are The Nutrition Facts For A Vegetarian Banh Bao?

Sunday Nov 8, 2009

it’s about average size, made with veggies and imitation meat [soy, wheat, etc...]. sorry i can’t be more specific. generic estimates are ok. the only info i really want is the caloric value, fat, fiber, and protein, but others would be helpful. oh and a “banh bao” is a vietnamese steamed bun.

I make “so not pork” banh bao using shredded seitain and mushrooms in asian seasoning. The ones I make that have about 500 calories per serving, 20 grams protein, 5 grams of fat ( I use olive oil ), 6 grams fiber ( lots of mushrooms ) and 3 grams of carbs from the bun. I’ve messed with my recipe a lot and you can do the same. Just mess with it until it fits your requirements and have fun. :]
