For kids that young you need to keep it simple. I’d do something similar to this:
~Our bodies need 3 things to live.
-food
-water
-shelter
~Food keeps us healthy
~Food give us energy to run and play
~Eating healthy foods like fruits and vegetables are very healthy
~Can anyone name any fruits?
-apples, oranges, bananas, grapes, watermelon, pears, etc.
~Can anyone name any vegetables?
-carrots, celery, lettuce, peas, green beans, etc.
Just keep it simple like that. The kids are 3-5 so they aren’t going to understand energy or why we need to eat healthy.
