How Can I Get My Mind Off Food (read Details Please)?
Posted by Zolly | Under Nutrition Wednesday Feb 10, 2010people say i’m pretty skinny, but sometimes i feel myself pigging out when i’m not even hungry. i’m terrified of getting fat, but i always think about food and am obsessed with reading nutrition facts and calorie intake. when i’m at home, i’m ok with food, i eat healthily and excersize, but now since it’s summer i travel alot and stay at people’s houses and i eat more food than usual (and worse and unhealthy foods) and i don’t have time to excersize. what can i do to stay fit and not overweight!?
Get out of the house…Go to the park, run around the neighborhood, do some kind of physical activity…If you can’t go outside then do the exercises inside either before you go to bed or once you wake up…You have time or you can definitely make time to exercise…Eat smaller portions of food 5-6 time throughout the day…Drink PLENTY of water…Get a good book that will keep your attention that way you aren’t always focused on food!
work out then you can concentrate on food even more.. If it being on food is the problem then watch fewer commercials turn channel for advertisments of food.
you can still eat.
and you can sit down
to eat a lot.
but since you’re eating often..
try to even out your portions.
eat small things.
and if you have an option of
foods.. try to lean towards
mostly the better-for-you
foods. but do not torture
yourself by avoiding everything
you love especially. because
it will make you not want to do
your “diet” or whatever.
indulge maybe once a day
so that you feel like you had a good
day watching what you ate but got
to splurge just a bit.
Watch TV or go outside or do something to keep your mind off food.
