Do Store Made Salads Include The Dressing In The Nutrition Facts?

Tuesday Jun 30, 2009

I just bought a made cobb salad in the section where you can buy veggie trays and stuff. I use my own fat free dressing… I don’t use the dressing they include. The nutrition information says the salad is 350 calories. I assume its because of the dressing mostly. It does have turkey, ham and bacon pieces too tho. I am only eating half as I already had lunch. This is just a snack.

Yes they do, i asked this question at my giant eagle because i do too use my own ranches but anyway they said yes it does include the dressing in those nutrition facts. But they said just know that your not eating as many calories as it says if you use your own dressing.

Stephani:

If the dressing comes in its own individual package, than the package should have the nutrition facts on it. If it does, than you have to add those calories to the 350 in your salad.
