Cost To Get A Food Lab To Analyze The Nutrition Content Of A Certain Food?

Sunday Jun 14, 2009

I would like to know the nutrition content of a certain food (i.e. total calories, fat, protein, carbohydrate, etc.). I know there are resources in the internet that can help you find out if you know the ingredients, but let’s say I don’t have the recipe to make this food. Thus, I am thinking of asking a lab to analyze the food. How much money should I be preparing for this typically, and what do these labs usually need (e.g. food samples, etc.)? Note: I am in Singapore.

You dont need a lab. Try this site and you can insert the ingredient one by one and it will calculate how much all the nutrition is. I use it all the time!!! Could’t live without it!!!
OOPS Messed up the link the first time, LOL This is the right one!!! http://www.calorieking.com/
