I’m going on a diet, & to closely monitor my calorie intake, I’m reading the nutrition facts pannel of everything I eat. Problem is, in Poland (I’m on vacation), they don’t have a very descriptive nutrition pannel. It shows how much sugar & fat there is in the food, but not how much calories. I’m good at math & if I can somehow convert fat to calories I can lose alot of weight. Help?

I have done a lot of research, briefly consulted with an alternative medicine doctor and have nutrition experience so I am not going into this blindly or with the wrong intentions. With that said, I would like to hear from anyone who has attempted and/or completed any kind of cleansing or detox “diet”. My goal is to remove toxins and reintroduce complex foods in an effort to see what aggravates my allergies. I am not concerned so much with weight as I am at about normal. This is not to quickly remove any illegal substances in order to pass a test either. I am simply interested in what works or not for people who have tried serious methods. I fear the lemon, syrup and cayenne diet (Master Cleanse) is too restrictive and nutritiously deficient but am open to anyone’s experiences. Any supplements that were beneficial I would like to hear about too. Thanks ahead of time for serious answers. be well.

I have a horse at my place who is destroying everything by chewing. He never used to chew until he came 2 months ago. At first, we thought it was a lack of nutrition, so he was put back on the multi purpose supplement he was on before he came and we put him on Quitt. That seemed to work for a little while, but he’s back at it again. He plays with my horse and toys all the time, and nothing’s changed feed-wise. Any other suggestions on how to stop him??

I’ve been downing a liter of Bailey’s irish cream each day for the past week. Today is the first day that I consider that it might have something other than calorie-less & fat-free alcohol in it. Probably a lot of sugar too?

It has chicken, bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes. This is minus the tortillas or anything else. Just the plate of fajitas. What do you think the typical amount of calories would be. I don’t know of any big chain Mexican restaurants where I can just look at the nutrition facts.

I breast fed my first child with no problems at all. Everything went fantastic. Milk came right away and I breast fed him for a whole year without any supplements. I just gave birth to my second child 2 days ago thinking all would be a breeze. Although, I have nothing, but little drops of colostrum. (I know b/c I pumped and barely anything came out.) They say it has lots of nutrition, but I’m afraid it just won’t due with satisfying my son’s hunger and health. He cries and just won’t even bother with trying to breast feed anymore. I’m frustrated and sad. I’m resorting to formula now. They say breast milk can sometimes take 3 days to come in, but what if it doesn’t come in at all? What can I do to stimulate my milk to come faster? I don’t want him to get sick of “trying” to breast feed or having him get use to formula. Any suggestions?

If you drink Lipton’s Green Tea will it help you lose weight? In the nutrition facts on the box it says it contains caffine & potassium. Is that good?
Will I lose weight by only drinking green tea each day?
Please answer all of the questions.
Thank you

For example, in a can of beef stew, there is a lot of greasy gravy. If I eat the beef and potatoes but don’t eat all of the gravy, am I eating less calories than what’s shown on the nutrition facts label?
