The Atkins Diet and The South Beach Diet
Medical research has analyzed numerous diet plans. Two famous diet plans are the Atkins diet and the South Beach diet. The South Beach diet is healthier than the Atkins diet.
The Atkins diet is a nutritionally unbalanced diet plan. It
increases the amount of protein and fat. This diet plan is followed according to four phases. Each phase consists of a high increase in protein and fat. The nutrition in this diet plan is unhealthy. It allows patients to eat excessive amounts of protein, and fat with minimal amounts of carbohydrates. This diet plan is harmful to the heart. It requires nutritional supplements. Although it is unhealthy, it insures fast weight loss.
Unlike the Atkins diet, the South Beach diet is a nutritionally balanced diet plan. It increases the amount of healthy fats and carbohydrates. =>cont;

Now she is eight months old and we agreed to cut down to twice a day. I realized that she needs more, so I’ve moved it up to about four, but I’m kind of doing it behind his back. We agreed to wean her by 12 months, and I KNOW there is no negotiation this time. She is gaining weight well but I feel like we are forcing her to wean when she’s just a little distracted. My hubby wants her to be independent and thinks that she doesn’t want/need breastmilk anymore. I try to tell him that the American Academy of Pediatrics reccomends at least one full year of breastfeeding and the World Health Organization reccomends two years, but he won’t listen. He’s convinced that our daughter is somehow more advanced and doesn’t need it. I am about ready to supplement with formula just so she gets enough nutrition. Help!!

I have been smoking marijuana habitually for about four years now, right through college. I am 22 now, and have been experiencing short term memory loss. I have quit smoking marijuana, but I want to know what I can do to restore proper memory function. What foods/dietary supplements/ exercise/ lifestyle modifications should I make to get my memory power back? Keep in mind I am 22 and it’s marijuana-related memory loss. If you’re not absolutely 100% sure, please don’t bother to answer. Basically i want to know what foods and supplements i need, and which nutritions i would have to take to heal my short term memory, and how long i should pursue this plan fix my memory.

I noticed many of my women friends use portion control. Their meals aren’t the most nutritious or low in calories and fat. They eat like birds. Throwing more than half of it away or taking it home for later. I eat the right combination of healthy foods, but a lot of it, to satisfy my appetite. I am on the core plan with WW. We can eat as much as we want as long as it is core foods. (Within reason), and an allowance of non-core foods per week if it is needed. I have a big appetite and I don’t like to starve myself. But, it will probably take longer. I feel like I am the only one that eats this way. Does anyone else? Or, do you eat a little of the bad foods like a bird?
