I am currently taking a Nutrition class at my college and my final is coming up at the beginning of next week. My teacher told us the topics we need to study and one of the things that will be included is a nutritions fact label. The label will have a few blank spots and we will have to fill them in based on the rest of the information provided. If I have everything completed on the label, how do I figure out how many grams of protein is listed if that is all that I have left blank?
I graduated in Computer Information Systems and now i realized i don’t want to work in that field. I am trying to choose a career where i can do things i like. I am a loner and a good listener. I like to give advice and teach especially on nutrition and herb supplements. Whenever i go to a bookstore i always grab a book about health. I thought of becoming an herbalist but that is not a major in college here in the US. i looked into becoming a naturopathic physician but that profession is taught only in 4 States, NY is not part of it. i like teaching but i don’t like children so i guess that’s a no no for me. Any advice please?
What are the nutrition facts from Ramen? How unhealthy is it really? Are the noodles unhealthy or just the seasoning?
Our wonderful kitten, Maya appears to have the dry form of FIP. She has signs of vestibular dysfunction: rapid eye movement, shaking of head, irregular gait etc. She has seen a vet. neurologist who feels it’s the dry form of FIP. She does display the symptoms of the dry form of FIP, although her blood work came back “unremarkable”. Nothing too high or too low. I’ve read as much as I can about FIP, and realize most conventional medicine feels the disease is incurable. But there are others that feel with the proper nutrition and different supplements it can be controlled and some times eliminated from the cat’s system. Maya’s a chocolate point siamese who’s loved by my husband, myself and especially by my 11 yr. old choc. neutered “boy”, who tested negative in the ELISA test. We are now hydrating her almost daily. She is taking an appetite stimulant (cyrohept) plus I’ve crushed :Lysine, B complex, pro-biotics, mulit-vit+cod liver oil in a paste taken along with pill. PLEASE HELP
So I’ve decide I need to go on a diet. I know that you need to eat right and exercise. So I was wondering if anyone could give me a link to a website with a little guide on how to read a nutrition fact label, correctly. Because I heard that most adults don’t know how to read one correctly. So I thought,since I am a very simple minded, that I must be reading it wrong. Because all I look at is calories and serving size. So yes a website with a suggested amount of protein and fats to take in to lose weight. If it’s any concern I am 5’6” and weigh 123. I know that healthy, but trust me it’s all fat. I want to feel good and healthy. Please only serious answers not jokes about my weight.
I’m currently at 242lbs as of yesterday. I’m down 10 pounds from my initial health kick 2 weeks ago. I’ve been eating mostly egg whites and such, raw veggies and I walk a minimum of 9 miles a week. I have a stepper thing that I use and try to do a minimum of 500 ‘steps’ a day.
Is there anything at all whether it deals with nutrition, exercise, or supplements that I can do to speed up the process?
I’ve used the green tea extract in the past from GNC. Is there anything else like that that actually works that someone could suggest?

If the answer is yes then cells should not die out of hunger.
