So i have been drinking milkshake supplements for a while now, but i am becoming even worried about having them (i have a phobia of eating..strange right) its not my weight i worry about at all, its i just i panic if i eat food, so my doctor put me on fortisip meal replacements, yes i know its not a fix for the issue and i need help. The only thing i feel ’safe’ about having is cups of tea, is there any kind of powder or something you can mix in with drinks to get your nutrition? i will eat a bit, but i can only normally handle a bowl of cereal a day..but as i drink tea, im not sure if there is any kind of vitamin//nutrition poweder you can mix with it. Thanks.
I love to cook. But I want to develop my own recipes and have accurate nutrition info.
Any guidance would be great.
I had this flatbread 6″ chicken with spinach dip type dressing and it was amazing. But I’m looking for nutrition information. Subway’s website isn’t up to date. Any other suggestions (I googled it as well, no luck).
I rescued my Bloodhound from the pound, so I do not know how old she is. She is also very lazy unless she is working, so it is hard to tell whether she is older or is just a calm dog. As a result she puts on weight easily, and since she is such a large breed she will age earlier than a smaller dog. I also worry about her joints when she gets older, due to previous poor nutrition. Would it harm her to give her a senior food now, instead of supplementing her current food with glucosamine?
Can we find out the nutrition content of a food by our own without depending on websites.
i.e the Fat and Mineral constituents of the food.
Two part question: I’ve been a smoker for about 10 years but have quit exactly 5 weeks ago. I started a work-out program consisting of calisthenics and jogging / running. My start stats are :
5′9 – 219lbs
Now, I’ve been in and out of shape since I’ve been in high school. I find it pretty easy to grasp things when it comes to nutrition etc. I joined the military in 2001 and lost about 40lbs to 3 months (bootcamp).
I’ve been out since 2005 and have been slowly gaining it back until 1 month ago when I stopped smoking and started this workout / dieting plan of just eating smart and keeping track of my calories.
My problems: I keep getting shin-splints. When I first started I was walking/jogging 1.5 Miles in 23 Minutes. Was able to do only 5 push ups and 6 sit ups.
I’m now jogging / running 1.5 Miles in 15 Minutes (Still bad I know).
Also I am now able to do 41 push ups and 40 sit ups.
My goal is to run 1.5 Miles in 10 Minutes or less. I’ve achieved this goal before – The thing is, these shin splints keep messing up my routine and I find myself resting way too much and losing out on workout days.
I wear proper sneakers. I stretch properly (before and after) and I do tennis ball exercises daily with my feet. And I still get these shin splints.
My current stats are: 5′9″ – 212lbs
QUESTION – Is there anything I can do to prevent these shin splints from coming?
QUESTION – Will I permanently injure myself if I continue to run on Shin Splints rather than rest them.
QUESTION – Why isn’t the weight coming off faster? I’ve lost faster weight with a more ” relaxed ” routine.
QUESTION – Is it possible that my body is only losing “Body Fat” and is converting some fat to muscle?
QUESTION – I recently started taking Creatine / Glutamine supplements (have been taking them 2 days). I just ran today, so I’ll see how I feel tomorrow as far as the shin splints.
QUESTION – Are there a set of supplements that can be recommended that when taken together improve fat loss / fat burning / metabolism. I currently take Hydroxicut (only before workouts). I drink 1 gallon of water per day. I also have started taking the Creatine / Glutamine and will also start taking in more protein via supplements.
Any advice from people with knowledge is greatly appreciated. I’m trying to get back into the military but I want to get in shape as fast as possible.
QUESTION – Has smoking for 10 years hampered my or destroyed my metabolism or physical abilities?
